How WADE Tech collects, uses, and protects your information — including the WE-Mail waitlist. Last updated: October 2026.
Who we are
WADE Tech ("we", "us") is a software studio based in Nairobi, Kenya. You can reach us about privacy matters at hello@wadetech.xyz. This notice (version v2) explains how we handle personal information collected through wadetech.xyz, including the WE-Mail early-access waitlist.
What we collect
Contact and project-enquiry forms: your name, email address, and anything you choose to tell us. WE-Mail waitlist: your email address (required), your explicit consent record, and any optional details you provide (name, company, role, business type, current provider, challenges, feature interests, testing interest). We also include campaign attribution (standard UTM parameters), the referring page, the waitlist landing path, and a server-generated submission timestamp. We do not collect waitlist page-view or form-start analytics. Campaign attribution is remembered in your browser’s local storage so it can accompany your submission.
Why we collect it
Enquiry data is used only to respond to you. Waitlist data is used only to manage the WE-Mail waitlist and to send the launch and early-access updates you explicitly consented to. Campaign attribution helps us understand which outreach resonates. We do not sell personal data, and waitlist members are never added to unrelated mailing lists without separate permission.
Legal basis & consent
We process waitlist data on the basis of your consent, given via an unchecked opt-in checkbox at registration. Joining the waitlist does not subscribe you to anything else, and withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it (see below). Enquiry data is processed to respond to your request.
How we protect it
Waitlist submissions are delivered through Web3Forms to our team’s inbox, where authorized WADE Tech personnel review and manage them. We do not store new waitlist registrations in a local application database. Submissions are validated, rate-limited, and bot-filtered. Please do not include sensitive information in optional fields.
Who we share it with
Web3Forms processes the form fields, attribution, and consent details to deliver your submission to us. Our email provider processes the resulting inbox messages. We use these providers to receive and manage your request, and we never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Enquiry messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request. Waitlist registrations are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, or until the waitlist program ends — at which point inactive records are deleted. Unsubscribe requests are handled manually; we keep the minimum do-not-contact information needed to honor your choice. This is not an automated removal service.
Your rights
You may ask us at any time to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. To unsubscribe from WE-Mail updates, email hello@wadetech.xyz from the registered address. Our unsubscribe page provides an email link; our team processes requests manually before further outreach. To request deletion of any data, email hello@wadetech.xyz with the subject “Data deletion request”.
Changes to this notice
If we materially change how waitlist data is used, we will update the version of this notice and, where appropriate, ask for fresh consent. The current version is always published on this page.
